I’m delighted to have been elected Leicester’s first City Mayor in 2011. Leicester has been my home for nearly 45 years and I am immensely proud of our city.
We have achieved many things since the election and have made a number
of big changes to the way we operate as a council. My
delivery plan also
sets my priorities for the city.
We've many things to celebrate in Leicester. However, like elsewhere in the country, our city is facing challenging
times. Alongside my councillor colleagues, I will do everything I can to
continue providing high quality services for our
communities.
